Four distinctions worth carrying

Four sentences that decide how the work is built. Each one is short enough to remember and specific enough to argue with.

  1. Knowing is not the problem. Structure is. Most managers already know what good looks like. What is missing is the sequence that turns knowing into behaviour under load.
  2. The reputation that made you is now the ceiling. The habits that earned the senior seat are the same ones that cap what comes next.
  3. Middle managers deliver themselves. Senior leaders deliver through others. The change of level is a change of unit, and it is why the two tiers are coached differently.
  4. The learner compounds while the knower stalls. Expertise stops paying at the point it stops being questioned.

Tools that work on their own.

The tools in this library are the ones used inside engagements: practical, one page where possible, built for site use rather than the training room. Free to download. The first set lands shortly.
